Mr. Flux
by Kyo Maclear
There was once a boy named Martin who didn't like change. Actually, it wasn’t that he didn’t like change, but more that he didn’t know change. Martin lived with his family in a nice but very predictable town. Then came the day a man named Mr. Flux arrived out of nowhere in a noisy old van. Mr Flux didn’t just know change, he loved it. And soon change spilled out of Mr. Flux’x yard into the street – right out in front of Martin on his bicycle. It just couldn’t be avoided. But would martin and his neighbours come to accept it? The story of an unlikely friendship, Mr. Flux paints a picture of the joy that can be found in changes big and small.
